Efrain and Rosie dedicate their lives to their family. They find time to not only make sure their 8 children are doing great and taken care of, but they also make time for others. This includes their lifelong care for their niece, Danay; And since Danay and Josue started dating, they have been a great example as a couple and as parents. Efrain has shown Josue the value of working hard to support the family unit, while Rosie has shown Danay the value of being involved with all her children. Aside from this, both have shown Danay and Josue the importance of displaying love to each other to keep the relationship growing.

When you think about Padrinos de Honor, you think about a couple that is a great example. Nicolas and Carolina are loving, playful, respectful, and helpful to each other. Aside from this, they have been raising their 3 awesome boys with great parenting skills. When you think about Padrinos de Honor, you also think about the fun times you have together as a group; When the four of us are together, we have a blast! For these reasons, we have chosen Nicolas and Carolina to be our Padrinos of Honor.

Although Ilissa is Danay’s cousin, Ilissa has always played the role of a little sister for Danay; Danay is always protective over her and loves going on adventures with her! Ilissa is true to her word. If she says she will be there for you, she will. This includes being a shoulder to cry on or being the best dance floor partner! Aside from this, Ilissa has always been there for Danay to listen to her and offer her the best of advice during tough situations.

Andy Maldonado is Josue's oldest friend. Josue met him at the age of 3, and the adventures began then. Andy has always been in the same group of friends as Josue, sharing the same childhood and loving the same cartoons, shows, games, hobbies, and more! There is no one Josue would like to go on a Pokemon Trainer Adventure with, then with Andy! His optimism, joy, excitement, and camaraderie make him the best of men!

Angelica has served as a great role model, and has always been there for Danay. While they are cousins by law, they are sisters at heart. Angelica knows Danay in ways most don’t. From getting into travesuras to walking down the aisle, their lives have always been in sync!

If Josue ever has something going down, he can rest assure that Javier will join him in the shenanigans! These two have had many adventures together, from sharing the stage in their rock groups, to turning it up on the beer pong table, to coordinating environmental health community events together, these two always enjoy each other’s company. Aside from this, both work in the environmental field, trying to make a difference in the world. Javier is an all in all nice guy who is there for his friends.

When they were little girls, Danay once replied to Onyx, “cousins can’t be best friends.” Fast forward to today, and an array of adventures and laughs together later, it is apparent to Danay that "Cousins CAN be best friends." Onyx has and always will be there for Danay to make her laugh and feel fun in the toughest of times. Her very accepting and loving nature makes Onyx the ultimate cousin best friend.

Jesse Chiang is the man! He was Josue's first college room mate, and that random room mate selection has made for an almost 10 years of friendship! From the beginning, Jesse and Josue hit it off, experiencing the college dorm life the way it should be done. They shared the same friends, parties, and homes as the years went by always being there for each other when the times got rough. So much to learn from this writer, business analyst, and, may I say, personal life coach.

Monique is the tough one of the group. In the worst situations, you will not tell she is phased as she would be joking around and making everyone lighten up. Despite her tough exterior, she is a softy. Danay loves how out of no where, Monique will give her a hug or say something sweet. Although this is not often out of the tough Monique, it fills Danay up with joy!

Supportive is the word that best describes John Ngo. As a friend, he will support you and always have your back. Often times he gives a lot of himself to help the ones he loves. As a soon to be Physical Therapist, it is certain that he will continue to support and help others. Aside from this noble quality, John knows how to bring life to a party! As a host or a guest, he makes sure everyone is having a good time. Since freshman year of college, Josue and John have partied hard!

Whether it be sky-diving over dozen times, skiing down the highest peaks, bun-jee jumping off a bridge, or twirling in the air while wake-boarding, Kris is determined to get that adrenaline pumping! Aside from this, he is a driven and goal-oriented guy setting his sights always on the next big life step. He is the loving boyfriend of one of Danay's bridesmaids, Andrea Serna! Josue will forever be grateful to Kris for being one of the main background dancers in Josue's proposal to Danay!

It all started when Nida and Danay both arrived to a Law School class early. They met there when they each complimented each other on their nails and since then, their friendship has grown. For the rest of their law school career, they took the same classes, studied together, and shared their struggles and triumphs with each other. To this day, Nida has been a supportive, fun-loving, and awesome friend of Danay’s.

He puts his sights on something, works smart, and gets it! His tenacity and sense of adventure have made a great impact on Josue.

Tall, dark, and handsome is awesome, but you add "caring" to the equation, and boom, you get Paul Quezada! Paul truly cares for everyone. He will listen to you, accompany you, help you out, and even give you a warm hug. Always lots to learn from him as well; he goes the distance whether at the various marathons he runs or in pursuing his master's degree in education technology. This determination and caring persona makes Paul a great friend!
