We're Getting Married!

Josue and Laura first met each other at work in August 2020. She was a special education preschool teacher, and he was the occupational therapist assigned to service the students in her class. They maintained a friendly but professional relationship, however, that all changed on January 30th 2022. 2022: Josue took a chance and sent Laura a funny, friendly yet thoughtful text knowing she would be sad after the 49ers’ tough loss in the NFC Championship game. After that night they began to text back and forth daily. One day, Laura jokingly invited Josue to stop by her classroom to have lunch and was pleasantly surprised when he did. Josue decided to ask Laura out for dinner, but she suggested going out for boba instead. The date ended up being a coffee date with hours of fun & random conversation. They connected through their love for family, sports, desserts, and music. They also shared similar values and goals for the future. 2023: 1 year & 9 months later, Josue completely surprised Laura during their NYC trip. On December 17, 2023, Josue got on one knee and asked Laura to be his plus one forever, his wife. It was a beautiful night in a perfect, cozy igloo in front of the New York skyline! 2024: 2 years & 6 months later, Josue and Laura are very happy and excited for this next chapter in their lives as Mr. and Mrs. Garcia! Josué y Laura se conocieron en el trabajo en agosto de 2020. Ella era maestra de educación especial de preescolar y él era el terapeuta ocupacional asignado para atender a los estudiantes de su clase. El 17 de diciembre de 2023, Josué se arrodilló y le pidió a Laura que fuera su pareja para siempre, su esposa. Fue una noche preciosa en un iglú perfecto y acogedor frente al horizonte de Nueva York. 2024: 2 años y 6 meses después, Josué y Laura están muy felices y emocionados por este nuevo capítulo en sus vidas como Sr. y Sra. García.
