Our wedding will be on an 11 acre apple orchard. We have lots of outdoor space to use and will be able to celebrate safely and in accordance with government regulations. Ceremony and reception seating and activities will be socially distanced and we will have masks and hand sanitizer available. We are requiring mask wearing when not eating or drinking and masks are a must on the dance floor, getting food, and at the bar. We expect to be able to host our entire guest list in June. However, we ask all guests to make travel plans with the awareness of the possibility of having to reduce guest list size in early May. We will contact you if this becomes relevant. For guests attending the wedding, please stay home if you have tested positive for COVID, had COVID like symptoms, or been exposed to someone with COVID or COVID like symptoms between 6/9/2021-6/19/2021. We will update this information to match health guidelines. Please contact us with any questions!
Please RSVP by May 10, 2021.
We love children--however, due to venue size limits, only children of immediate family and the wedding party are invited to attend. To note, parents with infants, please feel comfortable bringing those cute babies. Please check back closer to the wedding for some great, local babysitting service recommendations.
If you invite includes a guest, your are welcome to bring a guest. However, again, due to venue size limits, we ask that if your invite did not include a guest, to bring just yourself. We promise there will be lots of fun people to spend time with and things to do!
The ceremony is beginning at 4:30 so please plan to arrive before then. Given that our venue site is a working orchard/farm stand, please do not plan to arrive before 3:50 PM.
The dress code is garden party attire. If you are anything like Brad you are thinking, "what the heck does that mean?!" It's a wedding and we are ready to celebrate; so that means some nice, dressy clothes but no need to pull out tuxedos or cocktail dresses. Think nice a summer dress or flowy maxi or, dress pants or khakis, long or short sleeve button up, jacket optional. Fun floral patterns. and light and bright colors are welcome! Easter best is a good way to think about it. This is an outdoor summer wedding, so hats and sunglasses are encouraged. Have fun and pull out your best Derby hat, straw hat, or fedora! Wedges, block heels, or flats would be smart in the way of shoes.
There is parking at our venue, however parking is limited (60 spots for approximately 150 guests). Some of the spots will be reserved for the wedding party and family. If you are planning on driving please carpool (I mean pre-wedding group carpool karaoke, what's more fun than that?!). If you drive to the wedding and need to leave your car overnight, that is ok. Please pick it up between 7:30-10:30 AM.
We will provide a shuttle to and from the wedding. The shuttle will leave from the Courtyard Marriott at 3:50 PM and will run loops throughout the wedding. The shuttle has room for 50 people and will be first come, first serve. You can also park at the venue. Please carpool if you choose to park at the venue.
Our dinner will have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. If you have any other dietary restrictions, please reach out, we want to make sure there is something safe and yummy for you to eat!
A gentle reminder to everyone (but in particular our out of town guests!) our wedding is an outdoors, Colorado, summer wedding. This means remember to apply your sunscreen and drink lots of water (our sun and elevation are powerful!). Also weather here can change on a dime; check the weather day of to see if you need to bring a small umbrella---short rain showers followed by lots of sun are not unheard of in June and in true Colorado fashion we plan to just roll with the weather at our outdoor ceremony. Similarly, sometimes the evenings can drop to mid-50's (and sometimes they stay in the 80's); just check the weather and make sure you have the right accessories!
