We're Getting Married

Ross and I met at Cibo many times before, introduced by a friend. It wasn't until I was stood up, by yet another Hinge date, that I decided take myself out for a nice dinner. I wound up at Cibo and sat at the bar, Ross happened to be bartending that evening. I ordered my favorite pizza and we started chatting. I asked him what shows he was excited about lately. We instantly bonded over our love for Big Thief, a band we later planned our first roadtrip to Portland around. I then invited him to a porch concert my neighbors and I were hosting. We had a mutual friend in common that was flying in town to play. The night of the show was lovely, I was surprised to see Ross came alone and hung around all night. It wasn't until later when Ross was helping me clean up and take out the trash that I realized he was the only one left. I was still oblivious even when he asked me if I wanted to hang out. I said sure "I'll see you at Cibo sometime" haha. He said, "How bout outside of my work"? Then I knew. Oh, he wants to hang out, hang out, hahah! I said "OK" as I took his phone to give him my number. After a few funny text messages and memes later, we met up at Welcome Diner for pie and coffee, our first date. The rest is history, we've been making each other laugh everyday since. Somewhere out there, we would like to thank that Hinge date for cancelling on me. I'd like to think it would've happened anyway.
