It’s wild to think it wasn’t too long ago I was arriving on Camp Pendleton and meeting this crazy guy named Chris. Now he’s a pretty important person in my life. We’ve been through a lot together from long hours in the shop, the deployment to Japan, and all the moments most people will never understand unless they lived it too. Through all of that, Chris became more than just a friend from the Marine Corps. He became my brother. That’s why there’s nobody else I’d want standing beside me as my best man on my wedding day. I’m grateful for every memory, every laugh, and every hard moment we got through together. No matter where life takes us, I’ll always appreciate the friendship we built.

My big sister Sarah, with a decade between us, our relationship has truly grown and evolved over time. Although we didn’t always get along growing up, it has become one of the most important relationships in my life. What started as sibling chaos (and plenty of fights) has become a bond I deeply cherish. I admire her more than she knows. She is everything I hope to be as a woman and as a wife. She’s the person I turn to in both the hard moments and the joyful ones, and I’m endlessly grateful for her love, strength, and guidance. I truly couldn’t imagine walking into this day without her standing right beside me
