Well, it wouldn't be a Rix family event if we didn't have a few bumps pop up along the way. With that said, we will hold the ceremony and reception all the Commonhouse inside. The ceremony will take place on the 2nd floor in Ruby Hall, the cocktail hour will take place on the 1st floor in the Pennybaker Room, lobby area and the Garden (additional bar service), and the dinner reception and party will take place in the Ruby Hall on the 2nd floor. We just found out that there will be a Home Alone popup bar taking place in the lounge bar during our cocktail hour...they have assured us that the patrons will not interfere with our wedding so here's to hoping! There will obviously be a bar in the Pennybaker Room but we can still use the bar in the lounge for drinks but you will just have to be served through the windows in the Garden area.

Formal Attire: Cocktail length dress, floor length gown, tuxedo, black suit and tie.No white dresses :)

There will be valet parking available outside of the venue! We have been assured that there will be plenty of parking available. If parking fills up, there is street parking nearby and there are plenty of pay-for parking lots on Rossville Ave & Station Street (located right behind Bluegrass Grill). Make sure to pay for the meter if parking in other property lots or you will get ticketed.
