FAQs

The Wedding Website of Josie Kenkel and Richard Evans
I’ve answered some common questions below. Please let Richard or me know if you have any other questions about our wedding. We’re happy to help, and we cannot wait to celebrate with our favorite people!
Question

When should I rsvp by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than January 30, 2027 so we can finalize our plans. Early responses are always appreciated!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Children are warmly welcome to join us for the ceremony. For the cocktail hour and reception, we will be celebrating with guests ages 16+, with the exception of our nieces and nephews. Your invitation will indicate if your children are included, and we truly appreciate your understanding.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our wedding will be a Black Tie Optional event. Tuxedos are welcome but not required. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit and tie, while ladies are encouraged to wear floor-length gowns or other elegant formal attire. We kindly ask guests to avoid casual attire such as jeans, khakis, polo shirts, athletic wear, and t-shirts.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving by 1:30 PM for a 2:00 PM ceremony to allow time for parking and seating before the ceremony begins.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, both St. Patrick’s and Leo Ballroom offer ample on-site parking located outside each building.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests only bring a plus-one if they are specifically included on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!
