Glamping is where stunning nature meets modern luxury. You're able to immerse yourself in the great outdoors without forgoing the comforts of home. Experience starry night skies, wild landscapes, healthy cafe-style dining, and upscale, private tents. Under Canvas has safari-style canvas tents that boast optional en suite bathrooms, king-size beds, West Elm® furnishings, and wood-burning stoves. Moab is a desert environment so during the summer, temperatures can be very high during the day with chilly temperatures at night. Layers are key for your glamping adventure in Moab. Make sure to bring lightweight clothing that protects the skin from the sun during your daytime adventures and extra layers to keep you warm during the night while you are exploring the camp or sitting by the fire. Make sure to also pack sunscreen, chapstick, a reusable water bottle (if you have one), and sunglasses! https://www.undercanvas.com/what-to-pack-for-a-stay-at-under-canvas-moab/
Just like camping, there are no outlets in the tent which means no mini fridge or coffee maker. However, there are battery-powered fans & lanterns with USB plugs so you can charge at least 2 cell phones. If you need a powered battery for a CPAP or medical device just let us know in advance of your stay so that we can request one. Powered batteries are available on a first-come first-served basis.
There is good cell service at Under Canvas Moab, at least we know Verizon and AT&T work well. At Under Canvas we believe connecting with those around us and exploring the great outdoors is invaluable. For this reason, we do not have any WiFi at any of our locations.
The tents do not have air conditioning. They do have USB fans and misting systems to help cool the tents a little. The temperature swings throughout the day/night ranging from 94-54. The hottest part of the day will be mid-day. We will have no activities at camp during this time. Our suggestion is either to travel into town (about a 10 minute drive) or head into a canyon, or by the river. The temperature will change drastically in the shade.
Check-in: 3 PM – 1 AM. Check-out: 10 AM.
Please check out the Things-To-Do page, we have listed some of our other favorite spots within driving distance of Moab in case you are considering traveling before or after.
While we love your children, we would like this weekend to be an adult-only occasion.
