Meredith aka "Maija" is Josie's oldest friend. They met in elementary school and were essentially inseparable all the way through high school. Then, in typical Josie and Maija fashion, they both became nurses- as their family and friends know, there's nothing they love more than matching! Though always considered part of the family, the two officially became related when Maija married Josie's cousin Stephen in 2021.
Justine Reisman

Though the farthest apart in age among all the siblings, Josie and Justine have shared a lot of common interests throughout the years- reading, crosswords, and Nancy Drew computer games to name a few. Both sisters attended the University of Minnesota and bonded over their love (and frustration) of Gopher basketball and football. Justine is married and has one son, C.J., with another baby on the way.
Elyse Krahn

Before moving in with Evan, Josie and Elyse had been roommates for about four years. Common roommate activities included taking their cat Mosey to the McDonald's drive thru and attempting to watch every season of Game of Thrones (not successful). Elyse is one of the funniest people Josie knows, and they had so much fun living together.
Alexa Gustafson

Alexa and Josie met at Josie's first job at Abbott Northwestern. Their friendship started through bonding over horrible shifts, annoying bosses, and difficult patients. Since then, they have come closer through their love of thrift stores and candy. Josie followed Alexa to the operating room, and they have continued to work together for about 3 years.
Matt Fraser
Best Man
Matt and Evan were assigned to be lab partners during their Freshman year science class. They quickly became friends while they were doing their work, playing Mario Kart, and literally putting out fires in class. Over the years, Evan spent a lot of time in the Fraser's basement watching South Park, playing video games, and eating Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Today, the two still game, but they have swapped candy for beer.
Ryan Meath
Groomsman
Ryan is one of Evan's oldest friends. Minnesota sports teams have aged them both, but they have always been able to vent to each other. The two have made a lot of money over the years playing pull tabs and Black Jack (not counting losses). Evan and Josie always look forward to backyard BBQs and their monthly BINGO outing with Ryan and his fiancee Kadrian.
Ryan McMunn

Ryan was Evan's college roommate. Evan has been forever grateful for the UWEC random roommate generator for the brother they gave him. Evan spent a lot of time third-wheeling with Ryan and his now wife Hannah throughout college. Despite living in different states, the two have always found time to keep in touch.
Blake Johnson
Groomsman
Blake and Evan were dorm room neighbors their freshman year of college. The two quickly bonded over their love of football, weight lifting, and going to Higher Ground. Having the code to Blake's dorm room, the two spent a lot of time playing Madden together. Today, the two go back and forth trading prop bets, and NFL Draft takes.

Christian is Evan's brother-in-law. Together, Evan Josie, Christian, and Brie share a love of beer and breweries. Evan appreciates having his older brother standing with him on his big day, and can't wait to celebrate the wedding with his niece, Serena.
Darius Jiggetts
Officiant
Darius and Evan coached football together at St. Cloud State University. Also being roommates, the two spent nearly every minute together for the better part of a year. Evan and Darius had a special relationship built through their love of the game. Evan has appreciated staying in contact with Darius over the years, and is always excited to lose a few hours when the two talk on the phone. Darius is full of energy and passion, and Evan couldn't think of a better person to serve as an officiant.
