We met during the week of our first year at church camp in California! We were both from different churches and happened to go the same year. Over the years we grew to be best of friends but only could talk online since we lived in different places. When Cole joined the Marines in 2019 we lost contact for a few years, but then reconnected in summer of 2022 and the rest is history :)

Cole had the entire day planned. We started the day by going to my favorite breakfast place along with dutch bros. I knew something had to be going on at this point. Cole surprised me by taking us to the amusement park we went to on our first date. We spent all day there until it was sunset, and then drove us to the river where we shared our first kiss. He told me he was going to take cute photos of the river but told me to pose with my back away from the camera...I fell for it and you guessed it! I turned around and he was on one knee and asked me to be his wife.
