Just a few days prior to the whole covid shut down/pandemic Boris and Josie were just two hopefuls wanting and ready to find love. Both having huge responsibilities with their day to day life, they turned to online dating. Josie got on there along with another girl friend almost as a joke yet still hopeful. Josie’s profile had zero effort put into it and in her opinion she chose mediocre pictures. For this reason, when Boris came across her profile he became skeptical due to the personality that was shown by her photos. After a long contemplation he decided to reach out to Josie solely based off of the very few words written in her profile. Boris will tell you that Josie’s words did not match her pictures. The two went on to exchange constant messages back and forth all day long and usually deep into the nights. This was a rare occurrence because if you know Josie you know she does not stay up past her “bedtime” on work nights. One night Josie asked Boris to send a voice message and he complied and at that time Josie just couldn’t wait for Boris to ask her for her phone number. That voice did it for her. They finally set up an out of the ordinary first meet up which took place at Josie’s friend’s house. Boris is not one to meet at someone’s house for the first time but the convo had him so intrigued so he went out on a limb and agreed. He showed up to the house prior to Josie so her friend let him inside. She arrived with a case of beer and a bottle of liquor in her arms and the moment she first spotted boris she knew instantly her life had changed forever. Of course the first thought Boris had when he saw Josie was that she looked 10x better than her online profile pictures. That night they danced, laughed, and talked as if they had known each other for years. They left not knowing that they both didn’t want to be without each other just yet. From that day forward they have not spent more than a handful of days away from each other. They battled covid together a few weeks after meeting and were locked away in isolation with zero problems or arguing. This for Josie was eye opening because she is not a homebody but realized with the right company it does not matter where you are or what you are doing. Over the past nearly three years they have been able to happily blend their families, add a new puppy they call Silo, and most importantly learn how to love each other properly. They are ready to continue to love each other, communicate adequately, grow their family, and commit themselves to each other in front of all of their loved ones. - The Woodens
