I can still remember the day I saw Josie for the first time. It was during lunch in the school cafeteria. She was sitting a couple tables away from me, when I saw her I knew I wanted to get to know her. She had a boyfriend at the time but I didn’t care. A few weeks later I messaged her, and to my luck she was no longer with her boyfriend so I knew it was my chance. We talked for a few weeks and I decided to ask her on a date. That was one of the best decisions I made in my life which lead us to this point in our new life.

In July of 2023 we booked a little getaway to Cincinnati. We had a blast at Kings Island, visited the local market, and had some great food. The next morning we decided to go see the sights at the Cincinnati art museum which has a lovely park nearby. Ivan was very adamant that we go walk down the flower surrounded paths. (Ok I was a little suspicious) We stumbled upon a gazebo that looked straight out of a movie scene, and there standing in the middle were just two people in love. He got down on one knee and asked if we could spend the rest of our lives together. It was a no brainer! Of course I said yes!
