FAQs

The Wedding Website of Josie Berry and Brian Carpenter
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by OCTOBER 15TH, using the RSVP tab in the menu! This gives us time to give a final estimate to the vendors. This is a hard stop date. If you do not RSVP in time we will assume that you are unable to attend. The earlier you RSVP, the better!!

Question

What do I do if I RSVP'ed yes, but can no longer make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed!! However, we understand that things happen. Reach out to either Josie or Brian as soon as possible and we will make a note.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 3:00 pm. We suggest arriving about 30 minutes before. This gives plenty of time to park, find your seat, and get settled.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes!! Parking is on-site and on the side of the venue next to the machine shed with "ALLENBROOKE" on it. Please follow the signs upon arrival and they should guide you! If you are planning on drinking, we encourage guests to uber/lyft to and from the venue.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best formal cocktail attire. Please try to avoid jeans/denim & shades of white. Overall, wear whatever you feel best in...but bring your dancing shoes!!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding and please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Visit the Travel tab for information on hotel blocks and other recommendations!

Question

Does Uber or Lyft reach out to the venue?

Answer

Yes! Lyft comes out to the venue, so if you don't want to drive, you don't have to! Keep in mind, Spring Hill is not as big as Nashville. We will be creating a Lyft event, but it may take longer for them to drive out and accept it. Please plan accordingly!!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes we are! We are registered at Crate & Barrel, Target, and Amazon. All can be accessed through the links on the Registry tab on the website.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! On the RSVP, there should be a question to list any dietary restrictions/allergies. You can also message Josie and let her know! We have a couple of wedding party members who are celiac (gluten-free) so there will be some gluten-free options available!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures, which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like, and don't forget to share them with us!!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you--get ready to celebrate! For this reason, we encourage you to plan accordingly for your transportation. Lyft does come out to the venue, but it is not as reliable as calling one in Nashville. Please make sure you have a way to get home safely.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors. Cocktail hour will be half indoors, half outdoors. Reception will be inside. It is late fall in the south, so temperatures will be about 65 degrees in the afternoon, but can cool off at night.
