Bride
Josie is enthusiastic in all things. She currently teaches social studies for grades six through eight at Mansfield Spanish Immersion. In her spare time (of which she has none, but that's never stopped her), she enjoys doing theatre and letting her students rope her into new and exciting projects. More than anything else, she is looking forward to a lifetime of laughs and hugs with her fiance, Adrian.
Adrian Burns
Groom
Adrian contains equal parts warmth and weirdness. He currently works as a helpdesk specialist for in-home healthcare providers. In his spare time, he enjoys games and movies with friends both local and online, often shared with Josie as well. He is looking forward to sharing all that and more with her for a very long time.

Matron of Honor
Jamie and Josie first met through Children's Opera Theatre at the Richland Academy. Fast forward to 2018, and not only are they best friends, but Josie is co-Maid-of-Honor (with Bennett, of course) at Jamie's wedding!
Conor Dedek
Best Man
One of the groom’s two best friends, Conor is often the one driving the group forward, from heading up Film Club in high school to running their games of Dungeons & Dragons now. As caring a friend as he is a husband and father, his accepting and open nature makes him the right person to come to with anything—whether that’s a wild idea for a story or game, or asking for advice on the very proposal that brought this wedding into being.
Bennett Eighinger
Princess of Parties
Bennett has been friends with Josie since the early days of Children's Opera Theatre at the Richland Academy, and best friends since high school. She is using her unique set of skills to make sure the bachelorette party is a "rousing" success, hence the role "Princess of Parties."
Joseph Hiles
Best Man
The heart of the groom’s best friend trio, Joe is a gentle soul whose quiet demeanor belies his creativity and cutting wit. Joe’s occasional off-the-wall ideas are as cherished among his friends as his caring and generous nature, and he often highlights the best in the people around him. He always has something to offer, whether it’s a helpful insight or just a listening ear—or an observation as hilarious as it is unexpected.
Danielle Kahwaji
Bridesmaid
Danielle and Josie used to share a common, annoying problem, especially for teachers: a last name that kids can't spell to save their lives. In 2021 Miss Danielle Smelko became Mrs. Danielle Kahwaji, and Josie was honored to be a bridesmaid for her wedding. Now Danielle is returning the favor!
Michael Alquist
Groomsman
Mike is another member of Adrian’s high school Film Club friend group, and the first among them to have gotten married himself. This perspective and experience has been a great help to Adrian throughout the proposal and wedding process; this pairs neatly with the energy and levity he brings to the friend group.
Laura Mora
Bridesmaid
Rounding out the bridal party with style, Laura has been friends and coworkers with both Danielle and Josie since 2018. When Josie first met Laura, it was during a job interview for Spanish Immersion. Intimidated and nervous, Josie finally said to her (in Spanish), "I get really nervous when I speak with native speakers, but give me a margarita and I speak Spanish perfectly fine!" Needless to say, they've been friends ever since.
Colin Burns
Groomsman
Colin has just as off-the-wall a sense of humor as his older brother Adrian—he’s just much stealthier about it. He’s also a graduate of WVU’s Mechanical Engineering program, and spends much of his free time on bouldering and climbing. He’s a reliable brother with an unflappable calm and dry wit in the face of anything life serves up.
