Jessica went into a media agency nervous and excited about the possibility of a new job. She was interviewed by three individuals one of them being Joe. At first sight neither of them were interested, especially given the circumstances of how they met, but when Jessica got the job their relationship grew both professionally and emotionally. They always found themselves sitting next to one another during meetings and nights on the town with co-workers. They officially started dating three months into working together while keeping it quiet for months, before office gossip got the better of them.

Celebrating their four year anniversary, they planned a camping trip to Door County, WI to get out of the city. With the pandemic altering travel plans, they were sad not to be packing their bags for a two week trip to Spain & Portugal. However to make the most of it, they spent the time outdoors along Lake Michigan. On their second day, Joe was hoping to find a private moment along one of the many scenic bays overlooking the lake. Unexpectedly, he found that moment bright and early at the first stop while seeing the ferry take off at Northport beach. Looking for an excuse to go back to the car and grab the ring, Joe left Jess looking for a hiking path to continue their walk along the water. After returning Joe found his moment, alone with Jess on a sunny morning he asked her to marry him. The day will always be significant to them, as June 4th was their first date, the day Joe asked Jess to move in with him, and now the moment they committed their love to one another. Looking back they felt lucky to get that perfect moment away from the world to be together.
