FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We’ll be dressing up for the occasion, but there’s no dress code beyond wanting you to feel beautiful and comfortable. The wedding is indoor/outdoor and located on the highest point in the county, so it may be noticeably cooler than in the valley. There is a gas fireplace in the lodge and fire pits outside, but you may want to consider bringing layers or a blanket, especially if you’re not used to October evenings in upstate New York.

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

This is a celebration! We plan on serving local wine, beer, and cider. You are welcome to bring any other drinks that you would prefer.

Question

Will there be music/dancing?

Answer

We will have live music featuring local musician and childhood friend Garth Clark. We also plan on a playlist for dancing, so please share any songs that you would like to hear.

Question

What's for dinner?

Answer

We've booked a local pasta truck and will have following five options: 1. Seafood Fra Diavolo 2. Cheese and Spinach Ravioli with Vodka Sauce 3. Chicken Broccoli Alfredo 4. Spaghetti & Meatballs 5. Vegan Pasta Primavera In addition to the vegan option, any of the others can be ordered without meat. The food truck arrives at 4:30. We will also be serving charcuterie and appetizers immediately after the ceremony. And what's a wedding without dessert?

Question

What else should I bring?

Answer

The seating provided at the park is picnic tables. Please BYO camp chairs if back support and a softer seat sounds appealing.

Question

Are you expecting gifts?

Answer

We've reached the stage of life where we own enough kitchen gadgets. Rather than creating a registry, we'd simply love to celebrate with you. If you feel moved to bring a gift, a thoughtful card or something small and meaningful would mean a great deal to us.
