While both were serving on their fairs’ royalty court in 2016, these two love birds met when Carlee was visiting the Meigs County fair for their annual royalty day. The two were included in some group photos that day. Although the two of them didn’t get much face time that day, Josiah kept up on all the travels and things that Carlee got in to during and after college. While on a girls trip with her best friend Katherine, Josiah commented on the pictures of the Alpine mountains that Carlee had posted, which led to some messages then phone calls being exchanged. Josiah asked Carlee on her dream date of horseback riding in the Appalachian foothills of Meigs County, where both sides of Carlee’s family were from, and they’ve been inseparable since💕
