There are multiple options in the area, but we would recommend one of the following: Traverse City Airport (1 hour from Petoskey), Pellston Airport (30 minutes away), or Detroit Metro Airport (4 hours away). Rental cars available at all airports listed above.

Canadian Guests

Coming from Canada, you may find it easiest to fly into Sault Ste Marie, Ontario (YAM). The airport is located approximately two hours from Petoskey, Michigan and has car rentals (i.e. Enterprise, Budget/Avis, etc.) Driving from Toronto? Detroit is approximately halfway and is a neat destination to check out!

Alternatively, there are local listings worth checking out on Airbnb/Vrbo, particularly if you want to stay with more rooms and/or stay near the downtown. We recommend booking ahead since Petoskey, Michigan is a popular tourism destination in Northern Michigan and hotels will fill up fast. If hotel prices are an obstacle for attending our wedding, please reach out to Josiah or Woody and we will explore more affordable alternatives. We would love to have you come and celebrate with us!

Airport Transfers

While we strongly encourage guests to rent a car, you can also book private transfers from Pellston Airport (PLN) to Petoskey for $90 each way with Sunset Premier Shuttle. The company also offers similar service to/from Traverse City Airport (TVC) for approximately $180. Please feel welcome to reach out to Josiah for questions or advice.
