13 years later... we are finally getting MARRIED!

Josiah and Michelle first laid eyes on each other when he was in middle school and she was in high school while playing volleyball at an open gym. Over the next few years he made comments and cat calls to her through the halls of high school, however, she did not acknowledge his charm until May of 2006. They went on their first date (babysitting a friends siblings) on Cinco de Mayo 2006 and have been inseparable ever since.

12 years after that first Cinco de Mayo date in high school, Josiah took Michelle out on a romantic night on the town in downtown Columbus for their 12th year anniversary. They started with drinks at the The LeVeque tower in the lounge, where the mint juleps were strong and their loving emotions were high. They proceeded to dinner at The LeVeque towers restaurant called "The Keep" and enjoyed delicious creations and attentive care by the staff. Near the end of dinner Josiah stated he would be back shortly and he had to "use the restroom". While Michelle sat at the table waiting for him to return, Josiah frantically ran up to the hotel room he rented for the night to retrieve the engagement ring in the safe. On his way back to the table he handed his cell phone to the waiter so that she can capture a video of what was going to happen next. Once he returned, he grabbed Michelle's hands over the table and stumbled over his words while he looked at her with tears coming to his eyes. He then got up suddenly and came over to the side of the table and started to reach into his pocket. Michelle said "shut up no your not" and he said " yes I am". He then got down on one knee, told her how much he loved her and asked her to be his wife. She said YES! The entire restaurant cheered and clapped while they kissed. And the waiter captured the entire thing on film! <3
