Things To Do

The Grand Mesa offers a wide variety of outdoor activities, both relaxing and adventurous! Here are a few of our favorite recommendations.

Powderhorn Mountain Resort

48338 Powderhorn Road, Mesa, CO 81643
, (970) 268-5700

During the summer months Powderhorn offers lift tickets for $39 per day and gives guests the chance to test their mountain biking skills on various downhill tracks. Bikes are not included, but can be rented separately. There is also a much cheaper option for non bikers to ride the lift up for a hike down, or for non-hikers to ride the lift up and down to take in the beautiful mountain scenery.

Crag Crest Trail

Crag Crest Trail, Cedaredge, CO 81413

A breathtaking hike that offers panoramic views of the entire Grand Mesa and surrounding landscapes.

Thunder Mountain Lodge

20703 Baron Lake Drive, Cedaredge, CO 81413
, (970) 856-6240

This lodge offers many water craft rentals including stand-up paddle boards, hydro-bikes, canoes and kayaks! With numerous surrounding lakes this is the perfect place for either hanging out on the water or fishing, just don't forget the bug spray!

Altitude Outdoor Adventures

21161 Baron Lake Drive, Cedaredge, CO 81413
, 9708564497

This company offers both ATV tours as well as day rentals, all we ask is that you have fun and be careful!
