Joshua had been a long standing medical missionary who had long ago chosen to live the rest of his life serving God. As an alumni for Wildwood Institute in USA, he continued working with them for Light ministries as the Director for India, Nepal, and Bhutan. God had been steadily working in Samantha’s heart to arouse the growing desire to become a lifelong missionary serving the Lord wherever He called her. She had been on a few mission trips before that she really felt her soul thrive and come alive. She couldn’t forget those memories and constantly thought of them. Nothing else was comparable for her. It was in 2015 when she finally took the step to attend Wildwood. She went for a class mission trip to India where she first met Joshua. She had been saving herself waiting on the Lord to bring her His choice of a lifelong mate. On this trip through a mix of her own confusion and steadiness of events, the Lord clearly told her this was the man that the Lord had chosen for her, yet she was to wait. For a year and a half they had no contact, and wait she did. Yet God continued to work in her heart keeping her steady prompting her to wait on the Lord. In 2017 the Lord brought them together in an amazing twist and turn of events and it was another beautiful testimony to how the Lord works events according to His wisdom far beyond what we could ever imagine! It was also a beautiful experience to see how the Lord gives promises and then has a way to prepare us for the future promise to come. Once it was the Lords time to connect them, the two found there hearts beating in unity, with the same visions shared, and a love for God and each other that was so worth the wait!
