For before the wedding! Our favorite lunch places include Il Canale (Italian $$), Guapos (Mexican $$), Georgetown Seafood ($$), Chipotle ($), and Sweetgreen ($), and 90 Second Pizza ($)
Before the wedding or in between the church and reception, historic Georgetown is a delightfully charming place to explore! We love walking along the waterfront. We will often stop for 90-Second Pizza and sit on the steps overlooking the river. And many more spots will reward the adventurous pedestrian: Walk through the neighborhoods around Epiphany. Walk the grounds of the Dumbarton House, 4 blocks North of Epiphany. Walk down the C&O Canal (the trailhead is just south of Epiphany one block past M Street - Josh thinks this is one of Georgetown's coolest features) Walk down M Street, DC's famous shopping street. Walk to Georgetown University (a 20 minute walk, look for the giant stone clock tower

One of the 10 largest churches in the world, this is a must see. Make sure you explore the crypt church as well as the soaring hall above!
We have had numerous dates here. One of Kayla's favorite galleries is the Impressionists. It is located on the National Mall which begins with the Capitol on one end, has numerous Smithsonian museums lining it, and ends with the Lincoln Memorial on the other end.
