Diamond and I have been best friends for 7 years now, and it all started when I moved in next door to her in the 10th grade. We’ve been through some of the lowest lows and highest highs of our lives together and I wouldn’t want anyone else as my soul sister. We spent so many late nights chatting about what our futures would be like and our hopes and dreams and now they are all coming true together. Few have seen me and loved me like Diamond.

Our sweet friend Katie is one of the biggest encouragers we have in our life. She never fails to point us towards Jesus and speak truth and love over us. She loves us both so well. She is a mentor, a friend, and a role model to both of us. We’ve both spent many hour on her couch filled with cups of tea, quiplash games, and fellowship. We both met her at our time at Ravencrest and she and Thanael have poured so much time into us! We can truly say we wouldn’t be the couple we are today without her.

Have you ever met someone who you knew God destined you to be best friends? That’s how I felt when I met Molly my first year at Ravencrest. Molly and I share so many uncanny similarities- from the same music to the same style to the same freakin birthday. She really SEES me and KNOWS me sometimes better than I know myself. She has been instrumental in me finding my worth. She has held my hand through it all and I have her thank her for me becoming the person I am today.

Need a hug? Lydia. Need a pep talk? Lydia. Need a dance party? Lydia. Need a target run and coffee date? Lydia! I met Lydia during her time at Ravencrest, and Lydia gave me so many tools to help break free of my old life and showed me Christ in a new light. When I think back on some of my favorite memories of Ravencrest, Lydia is right there with me. From hot tub trips to long drives to sunrises in the park, there’s never a dull or wasted moment with Lydia. Lydia took me under her wing and forever helped transform my life.

Words fail me when I go to describe Joel because he is one of those people who lives a life so full that words just simply don’t do him justice. Joel models to both of us how to persevere, how to climb mountains (figuratively and literally) and how to take each day as it comes. He has been a true friend to both of us in some of the times that we just needed a listening ear and in times that we need someone to fight for us. I can say with no exaggeration that Joel has made us laugh harder than any single person on this earth. There’s no one like Joel and we can’t wait to have him stand with us!

John came into our lives when he started dating Molly. He instantly hit it off so well with our group and added the piece we had been missing. He is kind, giving, supportive, and loyal. He’s given Josh a run for his money at super smash bros and has been a true friend to both of us. When I first met John I remember leaving thinking how much of an incredible person he was and how he instantly meshed so well with our group. We can’t wait to have him a stand next to us on our big day!

Need a man with some of the fastest whit and the best mustache you’ve ever seen? Thanael’s your guy! He is a jack of all trades, insightful, dependable, and always puts others first. He and Katie have been such loyal mentors to us and wonderful friends. He has given us some of the best advice we’ve received and has always been on our team cheering us on. He is unique and personable and I’m a firm believer everybody needs a friend like Thanael in their lives!
