Work in Progress

2.11.19

Welcome to our wedding website. Please excuse the work in progress... We will be sharing our story, minor wedding details, and pictures. We have the registry already in progress. Help us go on our first real vacation, just Josh and I-- Our Honeymoon!!!!

From the start!

2014

"Vote for me and if I win I'll buy you a drink!" Me laughing... "Why do you have to win to buy me a drink?" From teddy bear pick up lines to flowers and chocolate for Ariel. I knew it was meant to be. 2014 was the year our love began to grow which each step we took. From concerts to our first camping trip. This year we had more ups then downs. We grew as a couple and as individuals. We grew into a strong family. 2014 was our year to take and we did such that.....

First Camping Trip

8/2014

Midnight- Susquehanna State Park rain and mud. This is how our first camping trip started. I could have sworn that this was the first time Josh ever set up a tent; laughter filled our site. We went on several different hikes to various places. We found slate from a roof ( I took some for a craft :) ), Carved our names in a tree, and still never made it to the Damn Damm. We walked 10 miles and the Damm never got closer just appeared that way. We started growing as a couple with each and every step. This trip started our love for each other, this trip started our fun and laughter.

Fun times!

11/2014

We are going to go camping! Oh yeah, where? In the Poconos! Hun, it's November!!! Yes, I know. Low is 36 and there is no snow we are good. Drive 3 plus hours... 24 degrees and snow on the ground... I think he started to realize even more what he was in for!

First's & Holidays

2014/ 1015

This year was the first for many things. Our first camping trip, apple picking, a real Philly cheese steak, driving through philly with me as a driver, borrowing pumpkins, borrowing slate from a path, first Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, valentine's day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, oh and all of those small holidays- best friends day, national hot dog day, take a hike, ice cream day, fishing day, girl friends day and etc. There was alot of first's and Holiday's that set the tone for the rest. Our love grew with each weird holiday and every passing day

2015

1 year

We made it to one year and have done so Much and been to amazing places. He once said I have travelled with you more then I have in my life. Well anyone that knows me.. I don't sit still.. We have come to grow with each other with each unique find or weird place. First year, full of first's, we are stronger together.

2016

2 years

2016 was a year of ups and downs. This year proven to be a very hard one. In the end we grew up together and pushed through many obstacles. Turning point was when we went camping at World's End State Park. We talked and helped each other up a mountain, stopping every 15 feet and laughing, sweating, cursing, dying, and etc. When we came home our life together blossomed. we talked to each other more and listened to what one another had to say. Truly thankful for this year!

2017

3 years

Mixed emotions this year! we enjoyed each other's company for sure. The year my dad was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer; a blow to the heart! taking my dad to Philly weekly. Purchasing a newer car to make sure he was comfortable. we also went camping to Virginia. I showed my little family where my parents took us as kids. Searched for fairy stones, fished, canoed, visited Mayberry, Natural bridge, Natural Bridge, sliding rock, baked a cake over the fire, and so much more. This year we learned the value of family and close friends. Every weekend was family time. We watched movies on the projector as we had campfires. More family dinners and games. Learned more about family mine and all of my extended. We picked out the family tree with my dad and took pictures. We all spent the night under the same roof on Christmas Eve. Everyone had their funny PJs and my dad read the Night Before Christmas. On Christmas we had fresh Picnic Ham that took forever to cook. Everyone brought something and enjoyed each other's company. This was our last Christmas with my Dad and we made the best of it. We know 2018 was not going to be easy by any means!

2018

4 years..

In the beginning of 2018 we went to the beach and light house with my dad and went on one last ferry ride. we thought January was going to be a rough year but we were wrong February was. I was laid off of my job and on February 6th my Dad took his last breath. He was now free from his battle. I was out of work expecting our little puppy in March. My dad was so excited about the puppy. My parents gave us another family trip. We went to Hawaii to spread my Dad's ashes. it was not an easy trip and we tried to enjoy it the most we could. We went fishing and toasted my dad with Coors Light, and poured him one. we are at his favorite restaurants and walked where he did. it was def not easy leaving him there. We knew he would have the best views and weather year round. I had two new jobs and a bigger appreciation for my love. Josh and leaned on each other day in and day out. Our dog Duke kept us busy and entertained.

2019

5 years- Engaged on New year's Eve/ day

2019 a new year a better year! We were celebrating New Year's Eve as a family. Josh was sick and was in bed. Ariel and I called him to come out to watch the ball drop. Ariel and I we're counting and laughing together we didn't realize Josh coming out to the living room. 3, 2, 1 HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! TURN MY HEAD AND HE WAS ON HIS KNEES!! This man who had a fever, stuffy, and nauseous was on his knees. Ariel was cheering, I said Yes!!! Through out the year we planned out the wedding and all the small details. We took Ariel to Disney for the first time. We drove to Florida Visited my aunt in Georgia, and then spent a night in Cocoa Beach. We wore our fuck Cancer shirt in honor or my dad. She was happy to learn more things about space and be in a place my parents took me when I was young. After that we drove to Disney and met my Mom, sisters, neice, nephew, and their boyfriends. Ariel's Grandfather and Grandmother paid for Ariel to go to Bipity Bopity boutique. She met Ariel first and then every other character she could find. this trip was possible because of an invite from my sister Michelle and Dan. They were going to run a half marathon. Ariel loved Cheering her Aunt and Uncle on. As a matter of fact she cheered on everyone. The wedding was put on hold when Josh was hurt at the house we are renting. This started house hunting!!! We were finally taking the plunge. August was a special time for us. We knew we were meant to be together. Went on a family vacation to Kiptopeke State Park and celebrated our life together, 5 years. We went fishing, explored new places including a hospital (no worries minor issue.), campfires, dancing, cake over the fireplace, and etc. September marked our 2nd adventure with the Mummers. We started to packed our house over the next few months to move. Right before closing more information on the house we were purchasing showed it's ugly head! We lost the house.. Heart Breaking.. so now we have a packed house and no Christmas decorations up. Well Christmas decorations happened in a day! Mummers parade all three of us were in the Parade. Mary Poppins theme. Ariel did so well and had a great time.. Actually we all did! Here is to us in 2020!!!

2020- it's our year to celebrate

Celebrate good times!!!

As we approach 5/23/2020 and the final touches are put together for our day; We are excited to share in our celebration with all of you. As Josh and I join together for our final step in front of family and friends, we reminisce throughout our years together.
