Lets head back to study hall in April of 2013 where Josh and I first met. At first we did not talk and jokingly picked on each other. Once I left for Disney World for chorus, that is when Josh and I really started to talk. He tricked me into giving him my number and we quickly became very close. I was actually the one to tell him that I liked him first. And to my surprise he felt the same. I came home from Disney and him and a friend of ours all started to hang out. On May 2013 he asked me to be his girlfriend and have been together since. We have grown(literally) together and he has been my #1 for the past 9 year.
It was a super early morning May 13th, 2022. It was our 9 year anniversary. Josh had woken up but was laying in bed relaxing. Normally when he wakes up I get up as well. It was about 6:30 am when Josh rolled out of bed and fully got up. I followed suite. Josh turned the tv on and asked me if I would like some breakfast, so he made us some eggs. Once he served breakfast we sat down on the couch next to one another and ate and watched some tv. I at one point said " After we eat, do you want to get the presents over and done with". Obviously I had no idea why Josh gave me a weird look and laughed. He said with a small giggle " Whatever makes you happy" Once I finished eating I ran into the other room and grabbed his gift. I came back out and placed it in front of him to open. Once he finished opening his gift, he walked into our bedroom and went into his safe. He then popped back around the corner, with his hands behind his back. He said " Close your eyes" I then did just that and then held my hands out. I felt something be placed in my hands when he then said I can open my eyes. Once I opened my eyes, he slowly got down on one knee in front of me. He then asked me the 4 magic words of "Will You Marry Me?" I had already said about 100 "Oh my gods" and said yes followed with 1,000 more "Oh my gods". He then explained to me that he had a whole plan but unfortunately, I woke up when he woke up. So finally after 9 years, Josh and I are finally getting married, and we cant wait!
