Answer

March 31

Question

What if I feel ill or have an emergency at the last minute?

Answer

If you are experiencing cold/symptoms, serious cough, fever, have been in contact with a COVID-19 infected person recently OR you have an unforseen circumstance that happens the day before or on the day of the wedding, please contact our wedding planner Marie Noel via text 718-685-6031 to let her know you will not be coming. Do not worry! We will understand. Just please be sure to get in touch with us.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Amazon

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

No later than 3 p.m. so you can make it for the groomsmen processional

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose. Still, you must also adhere to UM guidelines by wearing a mask while indoors.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we have limited seating at the Newman Center due to University of Miami's COVID protocols. So, we graciously ask that it just be you.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, please refer to the Travel page here on the website. It is Mother's Day weekend and Formula One racing weekend in Miami. However, there are some beautiful AirBnB accommodations available and a hotel near the reception hall, if you're having trouble finding your own lodging.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is ample free parking at the church. However, for the wedding reception, you must submit a parking request so that we can accommodate you in the Gray Zone parking lot at UM. You will NOT have to pay for parking as long as you complete this form ahead of time. https://www.verrus.com/default.asp?ctState=hpEventPark&hpEventUID=156029

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes, this is Mother's Day weekend! How special indeed. What a wonderful time to celebrate with our family! There is also a Formula One racing competition taking place in Miami that weekend. Please plan ahead, especially if you're taking a flight in from out of town. Our hope is that all out-of-town guests would have booked their travel arrangements by March 7.

Question

Do I have to wear a mask?

Answer

If you are a seated guest at our wedding, you are required to wear a mask while enjoying the ceremony, while walking about the reception hall and on the dance floor. According to University of Miami guidelines, while actively eating and drinking at your table, then and only then, are you are free to go without a mask. After all, there will only be 6 of you at the table -- most - if not all -- of whom will be your own family.

Question

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Answer

We sure do. #tiffandjoshtietheKNOT
