Joshua and I met way back in 2008 when I was home visiting and he was a student at Montana Tech. We were introduced through some of my best friends from high-school. We became good friends, despite me being in Washington and him in Montana. Much of the first year of friendship consisted of texting, "poking" on facebook, and Joshua "editing" aka doing some of my papers for school. At some point, in this flourishing love story, a first date happened at taco del sol where Joshua made me pay... nonetheless I couldn't help but continue to want to hang out with him. Some would say I continued to reject dating him, others would say we were dating "without the labels" but either way it was official in summer of 2009. Through the past ten years we have been long distance from washington to montana, washington to texas and finally in 2014 moved in together in San Antonio and now in Colorado where we have built our home with our favorite little girl, Charli. We figured it is about time to tie this thing down and have a wedding. So here we are, as long as COVID-19 doesn't throw it off, it will FINALLY happen July 31, 2020.
