Lookout Mountain
Lookout Mountain is Golden's tallest peak. Tara has hiked here and highly recommends it! You can also drive to the peak!
Historic Downtown Golden
Historic Downtown Golden is "Where the West Lives"! Enjoy the gold rush era architecture, eclectic shops, restaurants and breweries!
The Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave
A neat little museum on Buffalo Bill located at the top of Lookout Mountain. Admission is only required for the museum but you can take in the sights of Golden and visit his grave for free! Well worth a stop.
Denver Botanic Gardens
A beautiful botanic gardens in Denver. Denver is only 30 minutes from Golden! We even know some kids who got engaged here years ago! (Morgan and Dyl!)
International Church of Cannabis
Don't let the name scare you! (There is no marijuana use on premises). This "church" features a light show, gallery, arcade and media room that has over 10,000 video games on free play! $25 admission.
