We realized when we picked Vermont as the location for our wedding ceremony that it would essentially be a destination wedding for many of our family members and friends from West Virginia, so we decided early on that we would have a separate reception event back home after the fact so that everyone in our favorite wild & wonderful state would be able to celebrate with us too - minus the 600-mile trip!
So come on out, join us in a little celebration, have a bite to eat, maybe dance a little, and hang out with us for a bit, won't you? ;)
There is no need to bring a gift unless you feel so inclined. This event is more specifically a simple gathering intended for nothing more than to get everyone together to have fun & commemorate our nuptials.

West Virginia Reception

Casual Attire: Anything goes, from sundresses and sandals to jeans and tees.
Dana and Lauren will be providing a self-serve St. Patrick's Day-themed buffet including: Corned Beef & Cabbage Red-skinned Mashed Potatoes Baked Chicken Succotash and/or Green Beans Salads ...and Mountain Salad / a Ben & Jerry's-themed Cake for dessert! :) Drinks will be provided. Alcohol is BYOB and must be consumed out of doors.
