Rewind to the summer of 2020 when I started working at CMB Garage Doors. I was the new girl and Josh was the company jokester. Being that I worked in the office and he worked out in the field, we didn't talk much except when he would send me pictures of the jobs they completed. Those daytime work texts turned into evening texts and jokes which eventually turned into movie nights and dinner dates. After a few months of keeping things private, we decided to make it public and official on New Years 2021. Come to find out - our moms worked together a long time ago! We grew up in the same church. My Oma altered Josh's sisters wedding dress. My grandma and Josh's dad worked together. Long story short - our families have known each other for quite a while but it took CMB to bring us together (Thanks, Zabrina!). From kids activities to family vacations to remodeling our house, we continued to grow closer for the next (almost) two years. On October 9th, during the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, Josh waited and waited for the perfect timing to pop the question. After awkwardly telling me we should take a picture in front of all the balloons launching, he got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever. We are so excited for you to join us in June as we celebrate our next chapter in life!
