Our wedding blends both Italian and Guyanese Hindu traditions. The Hindu ceremony may be longer than a typical Western ceremony and includes meaningful rituals, music, and symbolic moments. We encourage you to relax and enjoy the experience! We’ll provide a brief guide or program so you can follow along and understand the significance of each part. Participation is optional! Some moments may invite guest involvement, but you’re welcome to simply observe and enjoy. Our Western ceremony will take place on August 22nd.
August 21, Hindu weddings are colorful and festive, so wearing bright, vibrant colors is encouraged. Traditional attire such as sarees for women and kurtas for men is common. Avoid red and yellow, as these colors will be worn by the bride and her mothers. August 22, please wear formal attire. Think elevated, stylish and photo-ready!
Hindu weddings often feature a lavish spread of vegetarian dishes. Be prepared for a variety of flavors and if you have dietary restrictions, please inform the Bride and Groom. Saturday will be a seated traditional Italian meal.
Please reach out to the Bride and Groom directly for booking links as they have a discount through The Vue.
