FAQs

Have a question not listed here? Ask us! We may add it to the FAQ ;)
Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is planned to begin at 5 pm. Please arrive 15-30 minutes beforehand to find seating and enjoy music from the musicians.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There's plenty of free parking, and a few handicap spaces. It is the same parking lot for reception and ceremony.

Question

Where on the grounds is the ceremony? Where is the reception?

Answer

The ceremony is planned to take place near the Japanese Garden. The reception will take place in the Jewett Interpretive Center and the courtyard. There will be signage for both :)

Question

What are the rules of the venue?

Answer

No alcohol. No drugs, including marijuana/weed. Be respectful of the grounds (use common sense). Do not drive on the grass. If we get fined because you broke one of the rules, we will send you the bill :D

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes please! We want our guests fed, "cause you're not you when you're hungry." If you have other dietary restrictions outside of allergies, please also let us know! All info must be submitted to our caterer by 3/25/26

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Check your invitation! Everyone who is listed on the invitation is invited. If you think someone was missed that should have been invited, talk to us :)

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

If they are on the invitation, they are welcome. If we missed someone, talk to us :)

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Wear something nice, but comfortable. The ceremony and reception will be indoors and outdoors, and there will be dancing, so dress accordingly!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are not wanting, as we've had a home together for a few years now. If you want to help us upgrade our home, you are welcome to, but not expected to. Please see the registry for a list of suggestions if you want to give a gift :)
