Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding ceremony and reception at the Santaluz Club is an adults-only event. Children are welcome to attend the Block Party, Welcome Party, and Newlywed Brunch.

What is the dress code for the weekend?
Answer
Block Party: Casual attire. Welcome Party: Yacht Club Chic - Think: country club or yacht club rules. No jeans. Long pants and a nice shirt for men (jacket optional - no tie) and dresses or pants/skirt and a nice top for women (not exclusive to these options - just offering suggestions). Feel free to lean into boat or nautical attire but not mandatory. We'll be cruising at night so please bring something to keep warm. Wedding Day (Ceremony & Reception): Black-tie optional. Tuxes or suits for men. Longer dresses for women. Colors are welcome but not mandatory. Newlywed Brunch: Casual & Comfy. The bride & groom will likely show up in sweatshirts so don't overthink this one. Come in whatever state you're in!

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the Santaluz Club for the ceremony & reception?
Answer
Yes! There will be transportation to and from the Santaluz Club, departing from the Catamaran Resort Hotel Lobby at 3:30 pm sharp on Saturday. The Catamaran Resort Hotel is the only location where buses will be available to board. All motor coaches will leave the Catamaran Resort Hotel at 3:30 pm so please plan to board by 3:15 pm. They will not wait for stragglers. You do not need to be a guest of the Catamaran Hotel or from out of town to board the buses - all guests are welcome to board. It's about a 30 minute drive from the hotel to/from the Santaluz Club. The motor coaches will pick up guests from the Santaluz Club at 10:40 pm and drop them off at the Baja Beach Cafe for the After Party and at the Catamaran Resort Hotel. There is no earlier departure than 10:40 pm.

Can I drive or Uber to the Santaluz Club? Is parking available?

Yes! Please note that the Santaluz Club is large and our ceremony/reception will take place at the Upper Clubhouse. Please enter through the North Gate and let them know you're here for Sloan & Josh's Wedding. Type in this address to your GPS or rideshare service: 8293 Caminito Santaluz East, San Diego, CA 92127 If using a rideshare service: I've been told it's much easier to be dropped off via Uber or another rideshare service. It's definitely possible to get picked up using one, but there is often a wait later in the night. Please be sure to direct your driver using the instructions above. If driving: There is a free valet service when you pull up to the Upper Clubhouse. Please note that the Santalub Club is a cashless club and valets are not allowed to accept tips.
