Great question! We decided on a family only, Zoom wedding because getting married when you're from two different countries is complicated! We think that having a small, family only wedding and then two receptions will help us get to see and celebrate with more of our loved ones.

How did you two meet?

Answer

We met online! Tale as old as time. :) Joshua was seriously looking for a wife. Sara-Marie was originally looking for prospects for a friend… but quickly decided he was far too good to pass on to someone else. We met online 12/24/2025 and had our first in person date shortly thereafter. For our first date, we met in Detroit for coffee and a trip to the Detroit Institute of Arts. It was such a great date that Joshua recreated it for our engagement!
