After catching each other’s eye at a bar in Dallas, Texas, they never saw each other again... or so they thought. Josh spent the rest of the night looking up every women's basketball roster in the state of Texas to no avail. However, the next morning, Trish saw Josh's profile on her Hinge account and was stunned. The profile was linked to an Instagram account which she promptly followed. A few short minutes after following Joshua, a notification popped up on her phone. Joshua reached out and asked her on a date! He was only visiting friends in Texas for three days before returning home to Seattle to spend time with his family. So for two out of those next three days, Josh and Trish spent hours together and developed a strong connection. Trish knew she had found her husband and Josh knew he had found his wife. This all happened the weekend of April 23rd. Just a few short weeks later, Trish flew out to Seattle on May 12th to continue getting to know Josh. Josh then flew back to Texas on July 30th, and stayed for both Trish's baptism and her upcoming birthday. That weekend he asked her to be his girlfriend and without hesitation she said yes! After years of weekend flights, long distance phone calls between continents, and date nights via FaceTime, Joshua proposed to Patricia and moved to California to be with her. Now the two reside in Los Angeles awaiting the day they get to celebrate their union in Christ with all of you!
