As music majors, we were constantly in each other's orbit—sharing stands in the trumpet section and marching side-by-side in the Green Brigade. What started as a mutual respect for the craft quickly grew into a deep, foundational friendship. For years, we were each other’s biggest fans and closest confidants, navigating the intensity of music school and the transition into "the real world" as a team. We spent nearly a decade building a life of shared jokes, late-night rehearsals, and a friendship that felt like home long before it became a romance. Harmony in the Unexpected They say that true character is revealed in the quiet moments, and for us, those moments became the bedrock of our relationship. Whether we were traveling to new cities, exploring the sights of Dallas, or simply navigating the unpredictability of the last few years, every challenge only made our rhythm stronger. The Proposal On a beautiful day in May 2025, the years of friendship and love came full circle. Surrounded by the skyline of downtown Dallas at Klyde Warren Park, I finally asked the most important question of my life. It was a nod to our history—right near the heart of the arts district where so many of our shared passions live—and a definitive "yes" to our future. The Best is Yet to Come From the trumpet section at UNT to the wedding aisle, our story has been a slow-build crescendo that we are finally ready to celebrate with all of you.
