The Future Mr. & Mrs. Martin

Our story began in the Fall of 2017 at Stephen F. Austin State University (SFA) in Nacogdoches, TX. We met at a retreat for a service organization called the Big Event. After several site visits, lunch outings, and church services together, Joshua graduated from SFA in August of 2018 without telling Morgan how he truly felt about her. We kept in touch over time and continued to meet up for lunch over the next 4 years. As Morgan was preparing to graduate from OT school in August of 2023, the two began talking every day and mutual feelings set in. In September of 2023, Josh and Morgan went on their first “unofficial date” at Tamashi Sushi, a spot where they continue to visit for occasional lunch and dinner dates. We went on more dates over the next few weeks after confessing our feelings for one another and finally became an official couple on October 15th, 2023 and have been inseparable ever since. We are grateful for our journey and the precious memories made thus far with each other. After 7 years of friendship and companionship, Josh proposed to Morgan on May 8th, 2025. We are so excited to spend the rest of our lives together and we are thankful you all have decided to share such a beautiful moment with us on June 5th, 2026.
