Josh and Melissa’s story didn’t start with fireworks or instant romance—in fact, it was more “oh hey, you’re here too” than “this is fate.” They knew of each other through mutual friends and crossed paths now and then, usually without any idea that anything more was quietly waiting in the background. Then life slowed down a bit, and somehow so did they. Conversations that used to be occasional turned into everyday things, and spending time together went from “sure, why not” to “wait… this is actually really fun.” Somewhere along the way, they fell in love without even realizing it was happening at first. What started as friendship grew naturally through laughter, long talks, walks along the bosque, and trips where they probably learned just as much about each other as they did about patience and snack-sharing. Before they knew it, something real had taken shape—a relationship built on humor, trust, and genuinely enjoying each other’s company (even on the days when one of them is being a little more “extra” than the other is ready for). Since 2020, Josh and Melissa have stuck together through life’s highs, lows, and everything in between, choosing each other every step of the way. Josh brings calm to Melissa’s beautiful chaos, while Melissa makes sure life is never boring for Josh. They’re different in all the right ways, and somehow that just works. Now, six years later, they’re ready for their next big adventure—marriage. Surrounded by family and friends (and probably a few happy tears), Josh and Melissa are beyond excited to say “I do” and officially begin their next chapter together.
