Modern Day Fairytale

Once upon a time, in a land not so far away and ruled by WiFi and dating apps, a girl named Melissa met a boy named Josh. There were no dragons, no glass slippers-just Hinge, which is arguably braver. Their story did not begin with fireworks, but with conversation that felt suspiciously easy. One date became two, two became three, and by the third date when things were clearly getting dangerous Melissa revealed a twist worthy of any fairytale curse: “I’m going to the US .” Gasp. The spell could have broken. Josh could have vanished into the app like so many princes before him. But he did not. He stayed. A clear sign that this was not a side quest. But let us rewind to where the magic truly began. On their first date, Josh stood outside a restaurant in the pouring rain, waiting bravely, only to learn the cruel truth: it was fully booked. Lesser men would have fled. Josh simply got wetter. So they wandered on and discovered a small cocktail bar, glowing like a secret level unlocked. They sat down, opened the menus, and without planning it, both ordered a brandy and coke. The universe paused. The fairies nodded. Ah yes, they said. These two. They talked. They laughed. They forgot about the rain. And just like that over matching drinks and zero coordination they fell in love immediately. Very professional. Very subtle. Then Melissa crossed oceans, as fairytale heroines do, and Josh waited, as fairytale heroes apparently must. They stayed in touch through time zones and messages sent at unreasonable hours. When Melissa finally returned, Josh appeared at the airport holding a bunch of roses, officially confirming that this was now a rom-com. Melissa’s father took one look at him and invited him over before Melissa had even arrived, because even kings know when a prince has passed the test. And so the story continued. Days turned into months. Months turned into years. And now, over two years later, Melissa and Josh remain together—still laughing, still choosing each other, still 'occasionally' ordering brandy and coke like it’s destiny. All because of: • one swipe • one very rainy first date • one fully booked restaurant • and two identical drink orders And thus concludes this fairytale- with no castle, no crown, but a love that survived rain, distance, and dating apps. And they lived happily ever after. PLEASE REVERT BACK TO THE TOP & CLICK THE TOP RIGHT MENU TO SEE FURTHER INFORMATION
