Hotel
For your convenience, a block of rooms has been reserved at Ocean Edge Resort in Brewster, MA. To make your reservation, please contact the resort directly by phone at 508-896-9000. In your communications, please mention the Burack/Parenteau wedding in order to receive a discounted rate. However, there may be better promotions available than our block, so WHEN BOOKING, PLEASE REQUEST THE BEST AVAILABLE RATE. You are more than welcome to stay in any of the resort's accommodations; however, the room block only applies to the Britterige One-Bedroom Villas. For the Sunday night only, there is no minimum night stay requirements, but please be aware if you wish to stay the Friday and/or Saturday night(s) prior that there is a two-night minimum. Please also note that the room block is only guaranteed if the hotel has availability, meaning space could be limited as the wedding is during peak season on the Cape. Because of this, we kindly ask and strongly recommend that you make hotel reservations early. You are also welcome to stay in any of the other wonderful options on Cape Cod or the surrounding area if you desire.
Flight
For those who are flying in, we greatly appreciate the distance you're coming from to celebrate with us. To get to Cape Cod, there are two airport options that are easiest to fly into: Logan (BOS) in Boston or T.F. Green (PVD) in Providence. Each are approximately a 1 hour and 45 minute drive to Ocean Edge without traffic. Where possible, we would recommend flying through Providence. It is a much smaller airport, so it is typically easier to navigate and usually has very minimal security lines. There is also commonly more traffic surrounding the Boston airport, especially coming from the South on weekday mornings given workday traffic. Coming from/going to Providence, you will likely only encounter traffic once you are close to the bridge to get on and off the Cape. However from Boston, it is possible for there to be traffic nearly the entire length of the drive in both directions. If the flights to Boston are more convenient from your home location, it is certainly still a good option and will still enable you to get to Cape Cod.
Travel Note
Cape Cod is a very common local travel destination in the Northeast in the summer. As such, on Saturday and Sunday mornings, there is typically significant traffic to get on and throughout the Cape. If you are planning to arrive on Sunday (the day of the wedding), please allow plenty of time for travel. Leaving Cape Cod either late Sunday night after the wedding or on Monday, you typically will not encounter any traffic. The only exception would be for those driving north to Boston on Monday morning with rush hour traffic accumulating by the city (between 7am and 10am approximately). If you have a morning flight out of Logan in Boston, please budget for additional travel time as well.
