Why does the website list March 9th as the date?

Answer

Don't worry about missing the celebration! March 9th is when we self-solemnized (on our 2 year dating anniversary!); our reception date and venue will come later! (See the below FAQs for more details)

Will there be a wedding ceremony to attend?

Answer

We have self-solemnized our union and exchanged our vows privately, so there will NOT be a public wedding ceremony to attend, but we will be celebrating with friends and family at our reception this summer!

When should I purchase a gift, since you’re moving?

Answer

Anytime! Zola gives us the freedom to ship our received gifts anywhere, at any time. Your gift won’t be an inconvenience to the moving process at all, so feel free to gift whenever :)

When is the reception?

We are looking at June 12th (or possibly the 13th!) for our celebration! We're currently in the process of moving out of state, so more details will be determined once we're settled. Stay tuned!

Our reception will be held in Oklahoma! The venue is still TBD, but we will update the website when we have exact details.

What do I wear?

Answer

The attire for our reception will be formal, and our colors (if it's not already obvious) are blue, pink, green, and brown. Basically, any color that belongs in a flower garden!
