Saturday Morning Farmers Market

The Downtown farmers market at Pioneer Park brings in thousands of people every Saturday to shop for local food and art. It's a great place to shop, people watch, or grab lunch. While you're there, stop in Tony Caputo's Market, a pillar of the SLC food scene.

This iconic Salt Lake hike offers beautiful views over the valley and the Great Salt Lake. It can easily be done in 3 hours or less and the trailhead is just a quick 10-minute drive from Downtown.

Memory Grove is a great way to get into nature from Downtown. You can easily walk to the park from the city center, then explore the trails leading up to the State Capitol Building or up into the canyon.

This hike is for those of you wanting a more intense Utah adventure. The hike will take up most of your day and wipe you out, but it's worth it! The peak offers a panoramic view of the Wasatch Range, Utah Lake, and the Great Salt Lake.

Get lost exploring the many winding trails through this beautiful botanical garden. The garden itself is spectacular and also offers incredible views over the valley. Pro tip: the garden allows outside food and drinks, so be sure to pack a picnic (and a bottle of wine)!

Ensign Peak is a quick and easy hike with beautiful views of the Salt Lake Valley! The trailhead is just a 5 minute drive from Downtown. This hike is especially beautiful at sunset!
