It all started Friday, July 30th with a bike ride. An easy first date, since Joshua knew Lisa would never say no to a bike ride. It was love before the tires hit the trail. It was the most enjoyable 22.9 miles Lisa had ever ridden. At the end of the evening, they shared an embrace that neither wanted to end. Joshua then offered to drive her down to Lake Shelblyville, where they had both been invited seperately for the weekend. It was the first time a 2.5 hour car ride sounded irrestible, or too short. Fortunately, the offer included a return trip home for church in the morning, and another 2.5 hours together. After church, they went out to lunch. From the first moment it went without saying, they would spend every moment they could together. Lisa and Joshua quickly discovered how very similar they were, and how they had both been searching and waiting for the same thing. Among the multitude of things they agreed on was that the other was more than they had dreamed of and well worth the wait. They also agreed they fit in best by each other’s side. It’s where they belonged!
