It’s funny how sometimes…you just find things

We met at Oh Charlie's one night in December 2018. My best friend Lucas Cole had invited me to go eat with him and his cousin. I said sure why not. As I was driving to the restaurant, I get a text from Cole that says, "He's single by the way". I laughed to myself and responded telling him I was not looking to be in a relationship. When I arrived at the restaurant things went great. Cole got up to go use the restroom and I looked over at Josh and said, "Hey idk if you know this but he texted me on the way here and told me you were single so idk what he is up to". To which Josh let me know that Cole had also told him I was single. We all decided to go to the movies that night and had a great time. Josh would ask me to go bowling with him and go to the movies, but at that point I still really wasn't looking for anything. Until he asked me to go to Grand lake to meet his family. I remember my mom saying, "If he's going to keep inviting you to things, he needs to come meet me". And he did, he drove about an hour to come get me. That night he told me he thought we had something and asked if we could pursue it. Little did I know that three years later he would be asking me to marry him. So yeah… it’s funny how sometimes… you just find things.
