Ahh the world of online dating! I happened to be traveling to Florida for work in December 2022 and decided to adventure into the Bumble dating app. Found each other on there quickly and started up a conversation. Found out he was 2 hours away in Savannah but was unfortunately leaving town the next day for the holiday break and we would not be able to meet during my trip. We continued messaging anyways that led into to a nice 5 hour phone conversation while he was driving to Texas during the break. We very quickly realized we might have something and dove into talking, FaceTiming and texting daily. We did this for 1 month before meeting in person for the first time in Savannah, GA. The in person trip was a whirlwind starting with cancelled flights in Atlanta. Then me driving 4 hours with a lovely young woman, who was also a total stranger (my parents loved this 😂 - she was going to Savannah for a Bachelorette party). She was on my cancelled flight and had reserved one of the last rental cars so we drove from Atlanta to get to Savannah at 3am to meet Josh in person for the first time. I then proceeded to get food poisoning on the first full day of the trip and Josh nursed me back to health and still wanted to see me after ❤️ After that we traveled all over the place while doing a long distance relationship for about 7 months until I made the move to Georgia in August 2023. Since then we have moved from Georgia to Arizona to Colorado where we have bought a house and plan to settle ❤️
