In June of 2021, Josh’s sister-in-law set Lauren and Josh up on a date. Despite not even getting each other's numbers, they realized that day that they shared a love of Disney and Mexican food. Thanks to their awkwardness, they went days without talking to each other again. On July 4th, Lauren was invited to a cookout at Josh’s brother's house. What she didn’t know was that his entire family would be there and she would be introduced to them that day. From that day on, they never stopped talking and their love grew. The rest is history- and still being written.

Although it was nothing fancy, the night Josh proposed to Lauren was a night they will never forget. Josh got down on one knee in the living room of their first house that they had just bought together. He asked her to spend forever with him and of course, Lauren’s answer was clear- yes!
