FAQs

Question

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony is at Mylander Pavilion and the reception follows at Mylander Pavilion. Both are at the same place, which we're very proud of logistically.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Parking is available at Mylander Pavilion, along Shoreline Drive, and at close by public lots. If you aren't near the lake, you are in the wrong place. If you get lost, that's on you. Google Maps has been around for a while.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 3:45. The ceremony begins promptly at 4:00 PM. We love you, but we will start without you. Josh and Kristin have waited long enough.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

It's August, which means it will be warm. Please dress accordingly. We want you comfortable, not heat-strokey. Think summer cocktail attire: nice, but breathable. Leave the wool suits at home.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Check your invitation! If your envelope had a guest listed, yes. If not, we love you, just slightly less spatially.

Question

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Yes. Extensively. Please eat lunch beforehand anyway, because the first hour is cocktails and we've seen what happens.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your children. We have made the adult decision to keep this one adults-only so everyone — including you — can have a night off. We trust you understand.

Question

I've been to a wedding before. Do I really need to read all this?

Answer

Statistically, the people who say that are always the ones who show up at 4:30, ask if there's parking, and try to bring their kids. So. Yes.

Question

Will Josh be sculpting cheese at the reception?

Answer

He has not confirmed.

Question

Is Aldovia a real place?

Answer

Aldovia is as real as love itself. Please do not look this up.
