Our Date has changed Again! Our new wedding date is Saturday, March 20, 2021!

I am sure many people are wondering what our wedding day will look like and what COVID-19 precautions will be in place! In order to comply with our venue rules and regulations, all guests will be required to wear a mask when not eating or drinking, so please be sure to wear your mask, even when you are seated! All of our tables will be spaced at 6 feet apart, as well as the rows of chairs during our ceremony. We are so excited to have everyone celebrate this special day with us! We look forward to seeing all of you there!

It was a snowy day in December of 2015 when Kayla's college apartment lost power. A friend offered to come pick Kayla and her roommate up from their cold, dark apartment and hang out at his apartment where he had power and heat! Josh happened to be visiting Raleigh this weekend and was staying with the friend that offered to pick up Kayla and her roommates. They spent the entire day and evening hanging out and watching movies with all of their friends. Josh's amazing cooking skills definitely won Kayla over by the end of the night. The rest is history!

At Josh's graduation for his undergraduate degree from NC Central University, he popped the question with all of our family and friends there to see it. It was the most amazing moment! Fun backstory! Kayla had spent SO much time steaming Josh's graduation gown and was not happy that he decided to wear it in the car on the way to the graduation ceremony. Can you say wrinkles?! Well, little did she know that Josh had the ring box in his pocket the whole time, and had to wear the gown so that she could not see the ring box in his pocket!
