We first met when we both worked together at Teapup, which is a puppy breeder in Syracuse Indiana. Josh had been working there for a few years and I had just started there at the end of May 2019. We didn't actually meet until the end of June on a Saturday afternoon when we worked together for the first time. Throughout the afternoon as we talked and got to know each other, we found out that we actually had many connections between us. At the end on our shift, Josh asked if he could have my number for "work purposes" which turned into friendly conversations over text that were rarely about work. Over the next few months, we continued to develop a friendship but didn't really hang out outside of work. In October, Josh's high school football team was scheduled to play against Katelyn's high school, which was a big game because they were rival schools. We both went to the game separately and met up during halftime and after the game and then decided to go get Applebee's as our first date/hang out. We really connected that night and decided to go out several more times to see if we really wanted to be together since we had been "just friends" for a while. Some of these dates included walking on the Winona trails, going to Sweetwater where Josh serenaded me with his guitar/singing skills, and having a bonfire together with some friends. Eventually, we decided that we wanted to be more than friends and on October 19, 2019, Josh asked me to be his girlfriend. This is our story and as they say, the rest is history!
