Courtyard Atlanta Decatur Downtown/Emory

Hey y'all, we know hotels can be pricey so we blocked enough rooms for those that are travelling in from out of town. This Marriott is within 1 mile of the Wedding venue, and within Decatur which is a great place to venture around. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle to transport guests to the wedding venue and the other wedding weekend events. There is also a MARTA public transit train station that you can ride into Midtown, Downtown or elsewhere for just $5 bucks.

Flight

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport

For those flying into the city, ATL airport is where you'll land. There are rental car options available, but not necessary to get where you need to go. Getting from the Airport to your Hotel: You can ride the MARTA train system all the way from the airport to downtown Decatur. Just follow the MARTA signs or head for the North and South baggage claims, the terminal is nestled between them. MARTA trains Gold and Red will both take you North. Take either to the Five Points stop in Downtown Atlanta. Jump off, and take the BLUE line 6 stops to Decatur Downtown stop. From there it is walking distance to your hotel if you chose to stay at the Courtyard Atlanta Decatur Downtown/Emory (130 Clairmont Avenue, Decatur, GA 30030. From the Decatur MARTA terminal to Courtyard Atlanta is a 6 minute (0.3 mile) walk, roughly two blocks.
